Description: 
Juliet M. Vogel

was formerly associated with the NCTSN Adolescent Trauma Treatment Development Center of the North Shore LIJ Health System in Manhasset, NY. She was strongly involved with NSLIJ work after 9/11 with children, families, and first responders and she also was involved in the development of a program for military personnel and their families. Dr. Vogel continues to be involved in the NCTSN Family Systems and Military Families workgroups and has been collaborating with the University of Oklahoma Terrorism and Disaster Center on work related to family resilience.

Karen Mallah was project director for the Mental Health Center of Denver's Family Trauma Treatment Program, an NCTSN grantee. Dr. Mallah now works as a behavioral health consultant on the Mercer Government Human Services Consulting team. She remains involved with NCTSN activities focused on expanding evidence-based and culturally competent trauma treatment for diverse youth and families.

Description: 

Kendall Wilkins was the former Program Evaluator for the Adolescent Traumatic Stress and Substance Abuse Treatment Center at Boston University. She is now a doctoral student in the SDSU/UCSD Joint Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology. Her research and clinical work continues to focus on co-occurring trauma and alcohol/substance use.

Lisette Rivas-Hermina was senior training specialist at the Children's Institute Inc. She now works as a consultant and trainer for Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in Los Angeles. She remains involved with the NCTSN activities to promote the use of evidenced-based trauma treatment for children and their families. Ms. Rivas-Hermina provides treatment to children and their families in Spanish and English in her private practice using both TF-CBT and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy .
