Presenters will discuss how to implement the CANS and FANS into a provider’s everyday practice.
Using the collaborative and strengths-based approaches of the CANS/FANS-Trauma can support the meaningful use of assessment in trauma informed care. The presenters will illustrate how the CANS/FANS-Trauma can support trauma and family-informed treatment planning, intervention sequencing and goal setting and strategies for use in trauma-informed systems/ agency planning and implementation.
