Resource Description

Teaches the application of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) principles and methods in cases where a child or adolescent has experienced the unexpected/traumatic death of an important person resulting in symptoms of PTSD, depression, grief, and/or behavior problems. It is a joint project of the National Crime Victims Research and Treatment Center at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC; the Center for Traumatic Stress in Children and Adolescents at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA; and the CARES Institute at the Rowan Medicine School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ. This online course has a fee of $20 per learner.
