Features Youth Task Force members discussing Never Give Up, a video that offers hope for their peers who have experienced complex trauma. Another video, Remembering Trauma, dramatically illustrates the necessity of incorporating a trauma framework when treating youth. Collaborations between SAMHSA, CMS, and New York State service providers have yielded a Health Home Initiative to advance treatment of complex trauma in youth, while training videos and webinars for clinicians further bolster the awareness of the developmental component of trauma. A new guide to help educators incorporate awareness of racial and historical trauma in their trauma-informed classrooms is highlighted, as well as grantee-Affiliate collaborations that serve to sustain our mission.
