Widens the trauma-informed care lens by focusing on familial responses to trauma and by building the foundational knowledge needed to design family centered, trauma-specific interventions that strengthen the family's ability to adapt, cope, and heal. This white paper, developed by the Family-Informed Trauma Treatment (FITT) Center, works to develop, evaluate, and disseminate family-based interventions for urban children and children in military families who have experienced trauma.
